We encourage you to watch a very interesting game Hans Moke Niemann - Abhimanyu Mishra from the US Chess Championship. At one point, Black played the "active" 20. ...b5, after which he won a pawn but at the cost of worsening the pawn structure (including doubled pawns on the a-file).

Niemann quickly exploited these weaknesses, recaptured the material and then implemented the pawn advantage in a very nice way.

Novy Bor secured the long-awaited title win in the final round of the European Club Cup in Mayrhofen with a 3.5:2.5 against Asnieres Le Grand Echiquier. It is the second championship for the Czech team after 2013. In today’s match Pentala Harikrishna lays the foundation for success with a white win against Maxime Vachier-Lagrave.
