The prestigious Andersen Memorial is set to take place in Wrocław from August 2nd to 10th. The festival will feature an exciting lineup of events, including the Polish Fischer Random Chess Championship, a rapid tournament, and several classical open tournaments with substantial prizes.  A major highlight will be the unique match-up between 11-year-old chess prodigy Faustino Oro and veteran Polish Grandmaster Mateusz Bartel , 40. On Friday, September 23, the Ukrainian city of Lviv and the German capital Berlin will play a charity match. The one-day competition will bring together some of the most famous personalities of German and Ukrainian chess without them meeting directly, as it will be held in a hybrid format.
