Clash of Generations: 11-Year-Old Prodigy takes on Grandmaster in Wrocław


The prestigious Andersen Memorial is set to take place in Wrocław from August 2nd to 10th. The festival will feature an exciting lineup of events, including the Polish Fischer Random Chess Championship, a rapid tournament, and several classical open tournaments with substantial prizes. 

A major highlight will be the unique match-up between 11-year-old chess prodigy Faustino Oro and veteran Polish Grandmaster Mateusz Bartel, 40. The two will compete for a coveted spot in the upcoming Grand Swiss tournament in Uzbekistan.
