Deshmukh Divya and Humpy Koneru have advanced to the quarterfinals of the FIDE Women's World Cup 2025 after winning their tiebreak matches.

  The Ghent Chess Masters 2023 is an invitational Grandmaster Tournament in association with Thinkers Publishing, held from July 11th to 19th, in Gent, Belgium. The tournament features 12 title holders and 4 wildcards in a nine-round Swiss tournament. French Grandmaster (GM) Marc'Andria Maurizzi won the Djerba International Chess Festival 2025 (Masters). The winner scored 7.5 out of 9 points, a remarkable result. There was significant interest in the performance of 12-year-old Faustino Oro.
