Deshmukh Divya and Humpy Koneru have advanced to the quarterfinals of the FIDE Women's World Cup 2025 after winning their tiebreak matches. 
Both players secured victory in their first games and then drew the second to clinch their spots. Congratulations!

Novy Bor secured the long-awaited title win in the final round of the European Club Cup in Mayrhofen with a 3.5:2.5 against Asnieres Le Grand Echiquier. It is the second championship for the Czech team after 2013. In today’s match Pentala Harikrishna lays the foundation for success with a white win against Maxime Vachier-Lagrave.
