European Women Chess Championship 2022 after round 2

The European Women Chess Championship 2022 just started in rainy Prague. The amount of 123  players from a total of 28 countries sat down at the chessboards in the Don Giovanni Hotel in Prague. These players will fight in the next 11 days, not only for a prize pool of €60,000 but also for  advancement to the Women World Cup 2023.  The home Czech Republic is represented by 14  players, who also account for the largest group at the championship. In an interview with Chess.com, the Dutch-Bosnian grandmaster reveals what it's like to work with prodigies who have taught him something about chess as well. Born and raised in Bosnia (then Yugoslavia, now part of Bosnia and Herzegovina), he was one of the millions who left or fled the country during the Yugoslav wars of the 1990s. He settled in the Netherlands in 1992, which was a much more chess-loving country then when it had five or six annual grandmaster tournaments.
